Airlines Service At A Four-Year High

Hawaiian Airlines ranks #1 in customer satisfaction according to a new survey released today.

As I prepare for another jaunt to one of my favorite North American cities, Toronto,  I was happy to see that the airline industry is actually making people happy for a change. It seems that after one of their worst years in more than a decade, customer service satisfaction is on the rise. The associated press is reporting that after cutting back on service, airlines are arriving on time more frequently, losing less baggage and genuinly helping out their passengers a lot more.

So who is doing the best? It seems that Hawaiian Airlines is on top in this year’s Airline Quality Rating (AQR).  Runners up included AirTrain and JetBlue. The news was not all glowing, as passengers all agreed about a few areas where the airline industry has failed them – charging extra for luggage, fewer flights, higher prices and less freebies.  So who came in at the bottom of the list?  That honor goes to Delta affiliate Atlantic Southeast.

I absolutely agree that Hawaiian Airlines is #1! I use them all the time for travel between SFO and Hawaii for business and they always treat me with class. Wish more airlines were like them!
