All-New “Brooklyn Nomad” Launches on Travel Tuesday May 18

New Brooklyn Nomad site launches May 18, 2010

Sorry for the lack of updates, but over the last week I have been tending to my little nomad, planning my 24 hours in Paris (which I am still recovering from) and working on an all-new design and look for “The Brooklyn Nomad” travel blog.

When I launched this site on March 1, 2009, I had no idea that my audience would grow so rapidly.  I really just wanted an outlet to express my love of travel and share some stories with fellow nomads, vagabonds and wanderers.

So out with the Word Press template that is being used by others and in is my own original look that will even include my own logo. I will be adding a New York tips section since so many of you love my tips on where to eat and drink around the five boroughs. Also I will be giving the “Guest Nomads” stories their own section as well since I have had so many great people write for my site over the past year.

So check back tomorrow on “Travel Tuesday” for the unveiling of my site’s new look as I celebrate the one year, two month and seventeen day anniversary of “The Brooklyn Nomad” with my recap of a whirlwind tour of Paris, France.

Thanks again for the support and for reading what I write.

    Andrew,

I’m looking forward to the whole new design, and to the additional tips for the 5 boroughs – we only really get away 1 or 2 times a year, so we have to be content most of the time with exploring our little world of NYC. And see you at TBEX ’10.

Thanks Michael. The new look is long overdue, but with so much going in (baby, work etc) the new design had to take a backseat. Glad you like the NYC tips idea. Looking forward to TBEX10!

Exciting, I enjoy seeing a few blogs I read change and adapt as they grow. I hope to be there one day myself, but until then I’ll see if your unicorn header image makes it in the transition. hehe

No way…that unicorn is being put out of its misery.
