If your travels ever find you in my borough of Brooklyn, New York, then be sure to hop an F, N or Q train and head down to Coney Island. Some attractions that you should check out include the aquarium, the Brooklyn Cyclones softball team at Keyspan park and of course the miles of beach. But no visit to Coney Island is complete without stopping by for lunch or dinner at the original Nathan’s. There you can fill your face with such unhealthy goodies as crunchy hot dogs, cheese fries, corn dogs, cheeseburgers, frog legs. Wash it all down with a fresh squeezed, ice cold lemonade. This year Coney Island will also debut the all-new Luna Park, which is a 3.1-acre amusement park on the site of the old Astroland, featuring 19 traditional and state-of-the-art rides . Future plans at Coney Island include a few more  roller coasters, boardwalk hotels and possibly even a casino or two.

Great photograph! Coney Island was and always will be a huge part of my childhood! It was the easiest beach to get to from Manhattan! :)
