Where I am headed today (Panoramic View Resort in Montauk,NY).
The next two days will be pretty busy as I embark on a 24-hour or so road-trip from Brooklyn to Montauk (about 121 miles each way). When in Montauk, I will be checking out one of their premiere beach resorts called Panoramic View (a full report about this lodge Friday).
...and how I am getting there.
I will be taking the road-trip to the easternmost point in New York state via a hip new car-rental program called Mint (a full report about Mint this Monday).

- This weekend if you are in or around Portland, Oregon, tune in and listen to me on The KPAM 860 Travel Show with Pat Boyle. If you are not in the Portland area, they will also be streaming it live on KPAM.com. Tune in either Saturday at 11am ET or Sunday at 1pm ET.
- Earlier this month Southwest Airlines, which is one of my favorites to fly (and tweet with from time to time), was cool enough to take a story that I wrote about their company and place it on their blog. I feel the LUV guys!
- I am honored to announce to you all that I am “laviator #28″ over at Heather Poole‘s fun travel blog. Don’t know what a laviator is? Then check it out for yourself.
- Finally, a great website called WhereIveBeen.com wrote an awesome review of TheBrooklynNomad.com over on their blog last week. I would like to especially thank one Katy Lynch for making an already red-faced Irishman blush. You rule!
