Monday Travel Shot: Montreal Botanical Garden

I am currently in the early stages of planning another visit to Montreal. Easily one of my favorite destinations in North America (and perhaps the world), this bustling Quebec city offers so much European charm without having to fly on a 5-hour flight across the pond.

One of my absolute favorite places to visit in this heavily French-speaking locale is the Montreal Botanical Garden.

Located just minutes from downtown Montreal, the botanical garden is located near two other popular attractions – Olympic Park and Biodome.

From the vibrant colors that surround you to the amazing aromas at every turn, it’s no wonder that I find myself here over and over again.

Ranked as one of the largest botanical gardens in the world, the Montreal Botanical Garden is definitely something you should add to your “must see” list when visiting Montreal.

Montreal and Quebec are one of my fave Canadian cities for culture and food, too! But come to Toronto also, for its multicultural flavor!

When are you going to visit Montreal again? I love Montreal, especially the garden too. I was recently there and I remembered I spend more then 3 hours inside and I wasn’t even done. You can check out some of the photos I took there. http://www.swgraphic.com/v2/blog/lovely-garden-and-live-jazz-day-2/

I hope you have a great trip in Montreal again, that beautiful European charm city.

Going with wife and baby the first week in November. Cannot wait to experience the city again and agree that the “beautiful European charm” is fantastic.

How cool–I love the car turned garden! Somehow I’ve never made it to Montreal, but I’ve been dying to go, especially since I have a few relatives there. Everyone I know who’s been there has loved it.
