Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium In Japan

I must admit that I am a sucker for a good aquarium. There is just something about dim lighting, colorful fish and chilly A/C that puts me at ease. So when I came across this amazing video (or vimeo) on the internet, I had to share it.

The video was shot at Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium in Japan, which is the second largest aquarium in the world. The tank featured above is called “Kuroshio Sea“, and it holds an impressive 1,981,290 gallons of water. Some of the fish swimming around that awesome structure include whale sharks and manta rays. The song playing in the video is called “Please Don’t Go” by Barcelona.

Click…watch…enjoy.

By the way, if you were wondering where the largest aquarium in the world is located, look no further than the Georgia Aquarium in Atlanta.
