Seattle is my favorite city in the US. The place has a very unique character and there's a variety of nightlife, nature, and of course good music to choose from. Seattle gets my vote.

For all you people thinking I would avoid a city like Chicago or Montreal due to some cold weather, fear not. I love cold climates and actually have been to Chicago and Montreal in February and loved every minute in both locales. Thanks for voting. First elimination will be posted on the site Friday.

Interesting idea. I'd have thought that several would be elimintaed in the first few months of the year purely on weather (Chicago and Canada at the very least). So (not having been there) but always wanting to go as an Australian, I voted for New Orleans.

I voted for Montreal. I visited Canada in October and I really liked it. It felt a little like Paris up there, not only for the language. Lots of art everywhere, gooood food, nicest people - but it may be a little cold at that time of the year. Nevertheless I loved it there.

Alright, I voted San Diego. I couldn't let my adopted home town go without one single vote. If you do wind up visiting America's Finest City, you can call on me for recommendations galore.
