From time to time you probably noticed a small badge appear at the bottom of select blog pieces on my site. They are from a great travel website called Raveable. Well this nifty and easy to navigate hotel review site just got even easier. That is because the site, which was just named one of Travel +Leisure’s Top Travel Websites of 2009, has added new site functionality which was based on the current trends in the travel industry.
Although pretty much most travelers look at price and location when booking a place to stay, “in the know” navigators want more information before booking. Raveable has solved that problem by adding new features to hotel searches like comfort of bed, new or updated rooms, free breakfast, and room with balcony.
While performing a search on Raveable for a New York City hotel, I was given options like fireplace (which is always an excellent feature), turndown service, and even in-room jacuzzi. After clicking on all of those options my results were greatly narrowed down and gave me such lovely properties as the Bryant Park and 70 Park Avenue Hotel.
One other cool feature with Raveable is that once I pick the hotel that fits my needs, I can browse through all the reviews from various travel sources all on my page. Very simple and user friendly. Another reason why I am raving about Raveable. Check it out for yourself and tell me what you think of it.
