Recently I was invited to check out Cathay Pacific’s new business class aboard a Boeing 777 to Hong Kong via the Boeing factory in Everett, Washington. Here are some images from the big event and some shots from inside the plane. Enjoy.

About to cut the ribbon to celebrate the all-new Cathay Pacific business class feature. (Actually I did not cut the ribbon. But did take an opportunity to snap a pic in front of it.)
I spent about 12 hours in this seat and can say now it is EXTREMELY relaxing. So much leg room!
The 15" television offers hundreds of movies, music, television shows and games.
I watched 2 movies, an entire season of Bored to Death, Curb Your Enthusiasm, three episodes of 60 Minutes, 48 Hours Mystery, a few Family Guy and over 100 songs.
Blogger. Father. Part-time Cathay Pacific pilot. Hanging out in the cockpit during the flight was a thrill for this aviation geek.
The food in Cathay Pacific business class is superb. Never ate so much at 30,000 feet in the air. (Pictured above: Salad and northwest seafood platter)
