Ever dream of dropping everything you’re doing and just venturing around the world? Want to be an actual nomad and escape the cubicle? Do you believe that there is more to life than a 9-5 work week existence? Well if you said “Yes” to any of these questions, then chances are you will need to check out a great ebook that I just finished reading entitled No Debt World Travel by Brian Peters.
When he lost his corporate job, Brian decided that this was not bad news, but instead good news. He had been so engulfed in his career that he always put off traveling. He felt travel was for people with too much money or too much time on their hands. Now with plenty of the latter, Brian decided it was time to take the journey of a lifetime.
Brian discusses throughout this impressive 80-page pdf how you too can pack a bag, a passport and plenty of airlines miles without going into debt. One reason many people shy away from extended travel is their fear of not being able to afford it. Well after reading this ebook, you will come away with a much better understanding of the do’s and don’ts of round the world traveling.
No Debt World Travel includes great pictures of his journeys, helpful and informative screen shots, useful website links, and even nine interviews from other travelers. The ebook covers the basics for first time travelers with great chapters like “Travel Myths”, “Deciding Where To Go” and “Travel Insurance.”
The one setback about No Debt World Travel is that while fun to read, this is not a resource for someone looking to take a year off after college and explore the world. Since Brian sold his house, worked his butt off in corporate America for years and was smart with his money, I felt the book was targeted less to young people and more to older affluent individuals seeking a break from the daily grind.
I would highly recommend this ebook to someone with a case of wanderlust and a healthy savings account. It would be very useful as a guide for when they plan to travel for a long period of time and want to save some cash in the process.
