Saturday Travel Shot: Monroe Street Bridge In Spokane, Washington

An evening view of the Monroe Street Bridge, which spans over the Spokane River in Spokane, Washington. The bridge was the largest concrete-arch bridge in the United States when it was built in 1911. It was designed by John Chester Ralston and Kirtland Kelsey Cutter. I will be visiting this lovely city in mid-August.

An evening view of the Monroe Street Bridge, which spans over the Spokane River in Spokane, Washington. The bridge was the largest concrete-arch bridge in the United States when it was built in 1911. It was designed by John Chester Ralston and Kirtland Kelsey Cutter. The bridge underwent major renovations and restructuring in 2003. It later opened in 2005 and provides some amazing views of Spokane falls. I will be visiting this lovely city in mid-August.
