The madness that was lower Manhattan yesterday. While I could not make it to the big event (hey I went in 96,98,99, and 00), millions showed up and packed the “Canyon of Heroes” for what was the ending of a truly magical New York baseball season. Go Yankees!

  1. WWF says:

Canada has a beaseball team, not that any Canadians really care. I’d love to see Mexico City get a MLB team just so they could outspend the Yankees and beat them at their own game. Mexico City has 30 Million people. New York has a piddlie 8 Million, and not all of them are Yankee fans. The revenue potential for Mexico City would dwarf the R.P. for the Yanks. Maybe China could have a team. They have 1.4 Billion people. Just call the team ‘Team China’ and have an annual players salary budget of 1.4 Billion – just 1 dollar per person. No American based team will never win the World Series ever again. If you think I’m joking its because the sport already has become a joke. Sorry, but you’ve got nothing to celebrate.

The New Mexico Yankees? Hmm that could work.
