Southwest Airlines is currently promoting their “Summer Sale”, with fares as low as $49 one-way! In some rare cases I even found $39 one-way. Travel is good through October 28, which gives you plenty of time to pick out the perfect dates for an escape. However, you must book your trip by May 14 in order to get the sales price. On a side note, so there summer sale ends in spring and is good for travel through mid fall? Works for me! Anyway, here are some sample one-way fares I found on their website (with taxes and fees included):
- New York (LGA) – Baltimore (BWI): $69.60 *Note:Service starts 6/28 at New York (LGA)
- San Diego (SAN) – Las Vegas (LAS): $69.60
- San Francisco (SFO) – Los Angeles (LAX): $48.60
- Seattle (SEA) – Boise (BOI): $59.60
- Denver (DEN) – Albuquerque (ABQ): $49.60
