The Intimidating and Impressive Iguazu Falls

Bordering Argentina, Paraguay and Brazil, Iguazu Falls is one of the largest bodies of fresh water on the planet and is easily one of the most beautiful waterfalls as well.

There are a whopping 275 waterfalls which span nearly two miles along the Iguazu River.

Every visitor to the falls should make their way to the  “Devil’s Throat”, which is easily the most impressive part of Iguazu Falls and offers some absolutely amazing photo opps.

The 300 foot high x 500 foot wide x 2300 foot long U-shaped area divides South America between the three aforementioned South American countries.

Iguazu Falls is currently one of 28 finalists to be considered as the new Seven Wonders of Nature in 2011.

Wow that is impressive. I don’t know what it is, but waterfalls seem to have a certain healing quality to them. No matter how bad a day can be, seeing one just seems to stop time and all your troubles and cares get carried away by the water.

Wow! Really unbelievable. 275 falls? great. I wish I should get a chance to visit this place and write about the same in my travel blog. I have written a post about the city of waterfalls in India, which has nine waterfalls. 275 waterfalls is really incredible.
