Travel Blog Exchange 2010
Travel Blog Exchange 2010 is just a few weeks away and the excitement among the online travel community is rising as we get closer to the weekend of June 26 & 27.
TBEX ’10 is emanating from my backyard of New York City and I am absolutely thrilled that hundreds of bloggers, writers and just plain travel nuts will be getting together for a few days of chatting, learning, networking and most importantly partying.
To kick off the TBEX ’10 festivities, Mike Barish and Pam Mandel will be presenting an official community keynote. What exactly is that you ask? Well it is an opportunity for your work to be spotlighted and shared with everyone in attendance.
Even if you will not be in the Big Apple in June (and honestly what’s your excuse?), your work is still eligible to be featured. All you need to do is submit your blog entry (new or archived) in one of the following categories.
- Twinkle in a Traveler’s Eye – The Ideas That Inspire the Trips
- In Transit – The Perils (and Joys) of Transportation
- Talking to Strangers – The People You Meet
- Spit or Swallow – Culinary Conundrums
- The Power of Places – Inspiring Destinations
- You Did What? – Adrenaline Rushes and Adventures
- Love at First Flight – Tales of Romance on the Road
- Trips & Falls – Embarrassing Tales & Travel Fails
- Home, Bittersweet Home – Reverse Culture Shock & Many Happy Returns
